So if you see the shape of your toes through the upper material- it is OK. Spare Soles are the smallest ballerina flats that fit anywhere and in order to do that they are not rigid.
b. Check to make sure you have the right slipper on the right foot and the left slipper on the left foot. There is a sewn-in tag in each slipper that designates the right and left slipper.
You will notice that your shoes come rolled up and secured by the elastic strap in the right slipper. This elastic strap maintains the compact shape of the slipper. When you are wearing the shoes simply tuck the strap into the back of the shoe. You will hardly notice it is there! When you are done using your Spare Soles place them sole to sole and roll from the top down and loop the restraining strap around. This will help keep them rolled and compact. If it bothers you or breaks go ahead and cut it out. Your shoes will still roll or fold in half without the strap.

2. Please remember that each size is designed to fit two shoe sizes so it is ok if they fit a little loose. The elastic strap is designed to hold your ankle if its loose and stretch if you need extra length.

1. Yes, this line was designed with further distance walking in mind. They have a full sole that can be a back up solution for quite a few hours. Keep in mind they do not have arch support. However, if you use insoles or orthotics you can slip them into these flats for extra support.
2. Spare Soles Metro will wear out sooner than a regular pair of shoes due to their compact size. However, they are definitely intended to be a part of your wardrobe for awhile.
3. How does the extra tote bag work?
Fully unzip the wristlet and pull out the tote bag to completely open. Once in the extended size you can use the tote as storage for your other shoes or as a shopper tote bag. When the tote is fully opened there is a hole to slide your hanging wristlet piece in so it is no longer hanging off the bottom.
